Here's the exclusive 1 UP Infinite interview with art designer Mel Kishida, best known for his work in Blue Reflection but also a number of anime as the original character designer. As one of his rare appearances outside of Japan, it was a pleasure and opportunity to meet an artist for a game that I've been a fan of for years. I was always fond of his distinct drawing style, a style he's aware of and expresses the thought process that goes into his characters.
Several things to note and pick out from the interview is that one of his favorite games is Romancing SaGa, expressing that working with those who developed the game would make it one of his dream projects. He's also a huge fan of the new Gundam series The Witch from Mercury, a title that I have mentioned several times in terms of my own enjoyment. If Kishida-san enjoys G-Witch, that should be enough of a recommendation to watch it!
